For Pilots

The Bob Quinn Lake airstrip is a registered aerodrome that is open to the public. All users must report their landings and pay Landing Fees. To make a report and pay landing fees, please go to the Reporting and Payment tab.

Before planning a landing at Bob Quinn, review the airstrip status and check weather conditions (weather station data is usually available April to September annually). Pilots should consult the Canada Flight Supplement (CFS) for VFR and the Canadian Air Pilot (CAP) IFR procedures, respectively, prior to landing for the latest information on the airstrip. Check out the Forecasts and Observations / WxCam available on the NAV Canada Aviation Website for the Bob Quinn Lake Airport.

Please note:

>  The airstrip is not maintained in winter months.

>  The airstrip does not provide emergency services.

>  Users of the Bob Quinn Lake Airstrip do so at their own risk.

>  There is high density helicopter traffic in the region between the Bob Quinn Airstrip and to exploration projects to the West of the airstrip  from April to October.
